1. Acceptance

By using the Site you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is a business website intended for adults; no account is offered or required.

2. What the Site is

The Site describes Iron Rod Systems LLC, its consulting practice and its products, and provides the Iron Rod Agent, an AI assistant that answers questions from our published sources, can verify its answers with TruthLock on request, can take simple actions on the Site at your request (such as navigating to a page or changing the theme), and can fetch live information such as the time, weather, nearby places and open-web search results. The Site and the agent may change at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Site and the agent for their purpose. You agree not to use them for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of our providers; interfere with the Site's operation; use automated means to access the agent without our permission; attempt to extract the agent's instructions or circumvent its safeguards; or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious. We may rate-limit or block traffic that breaches this section.

4. AI-generated content

The agent's answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors. You acknowledge that:

• Answers about Iron Rod Systems are drawn from our published sources and can be checked with TruthLock; a grade is an assessment, not a guarantee.
• Answers labeled Live information come from third-party services and are not verified by us or by TruthLock.
• Nothing the agent says is legal, financial, medical, safety or other professional advice, and nothing it says is an offer, quotation or commitment on our behalf. Pricing and scope for any engagement are agreed in writing.
• You should not enter confidential or sensitive information into the agent. Use contact for anything sensitive.

5. TruthLock records

When you ask the agent to verify an answer, TruthLock produces a signed record of the question, the answer, the grades and the sources. Records are retained so that they can be checked later, are superseded rather than edited, and may be opened by anyone who has the record's link. Records contain no personal information about you. TruthLock™ Verify and TruthLock™ Proof of Authenticity are proprietary, patent-pending technologies of Iron Rod Systems LLC.

6. Consulting engagements and products

Consulting engagements are governed by a written agreement between you and Iron Rod Systems LLC, not by these Terms. TruthLock, LDS Iron Rod AI and our other products are governed by their own terms, pricing and policies on their own sites. Figures on the Site describing client work describe specific projects under their specific conditions and are not a promise of results.

7. Intellectual property

The text, design, wordmark, images, video and software on the Site are the property of Iron Rod Systems LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. TruthLock™, Iron Rod AI™ and the Iron Rod AI logo are trademarks of Iron Rod Systems LLC. Patent applications are pending on TruthLock verification and proof of authenticity, held by Iron Rod Systems. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link; any other reproduction requires our written permission.

8. Third-party sites and content

The Site links to third-party sites, and the News page gathers headlines from third-party publishers automatically. We do not control and are not responsible for their content. A link or headline is not an endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and the agent are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iron Rod Systems LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Site, the agent or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages arising from the Site or the agent shall not exceed fifty dollars (US $50). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iron Rod Systems LLC and its officers, employees and contractors from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top changes with each revision, and material changes will be noted on the News page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
